IOgraph software records the movements of a computer mouse; the results are a form of abstract art. What does one hour playing your favourite video game look like? How about recording all your mouse actions over a week, month, or year? The gallery opposite was the result of 27 minutes surfing the net.
The series is called 'The Net'; it's a visual analogy of the Internet with its pipelines and nodes. It is also a pun as it was created whilst surfing 'the net'.
Of course, the IOgraph software could be used to create a more figurative piece using the mouse as you would a pencil or paint brush.
The abstract landscape below is entitled 58 minutes - no prizes for guessing why.
