Using computer software, we can create images from the figurative through to the abstract using a digital colour wheel and a set of drawing tools.


'Staircase to infinity' was created using contrasting complementary colours and the squares tool. It was a play on some of the ideas developed by M C Escher.   


Complementary colours were chosen to add a sense of shock and confusion.  

The assignment was to apply design elements/principles in an abstract way using computer software.
