This project was an exercise in using the grid method to enlarge/transfer an image from a photograph to a painting.  Students were given a small section of a photograph of Picasso's painting, and they had to produce an acrylic painting on wood panel.  The paintings were graded on accuracy in line and colour.  All colours were mixed from a simple palette of white, black, red, yellow, and blue.
